Hi there! How's your week been?
This week, as the wind blew warmer and thick clouds soared by overhead, we planted and harvested. Such is the life of a farmer. We tucked herb and flower and bean and zucchini and lettuce seeds in soil. We pulled radishes and lettuces and turnips from soil. We watered, despite threatening (but never actually falling) rain. We are learning never to count on the storms weather men promise.
On the whole: the farm is in great shape for spring! The Farmily CSA is on (revised) schedule and due to begin April 15th. We'll have details soon. And yes, the Texarkana Farmers' Market opens April 1st. That's in less than two weeks! It's been a long break and we are eager to see you all again.
