It's March, and spring is definitely in the air! On the farm, we're keeping busy with succession planting spring crops and harvesting over-wintered spinach and radishes. Just look at these gorgeous colors! These heirloom radishes are mild and colorful addition to fresh salads and slaws. We love them!
Oh. And did we mention? Select Balm+Honey Farm produce will be available for purchase locally at The Granary on New Boston Road in Texarkana! From organic greens to heirloom tomatoes, we'll be sharing our fresh produce this year with Granary customers. Be sure to look for our fresh food when you're there, and tell the folks at the Granary "thank you" for supporting small local farms. :)
This is the year we really ramp up efforts to get clean, organically-and-sustainably grown food to our community. Thank you for your patience as Balm+Honey Farm figures this all out!
